I discovered Jim Dine for the first time today. The first one is "Sappho and the Window #3" and the one below is "A Study of Time". I think for my still-life I want to incorporate text and photographs, maybe polaroids into the image. I really like the idea of photographing different objects on my bed, because that deals with the concept of photographing my interior as an autobiography, while covering the guidelines for my still-life assignment. I'm so excited about portraying nostalgia a little bit this semester, along with what I'm already doing, maybe at the same time!!!
